How do I register?

This year you can register online directly from this website including uploading all required documents ie, birth certificate, and proof of grade. The remaining required documents will be able to be signed with electronic signatures! 

Physicals and any volunteer or equipment checks will be collected at the parent meetings. 

All required documents must be submitted/turned in before first practice (July 27th, 2026.) 

How do I get my athlete measured for uniforms?

Uniform fittings for the Fall 2026 season will take place on Sunday May 3rd and Sunday May 17th.

Tackle Football: 10am-2pm. Last names A-M 10am-12pm. Last names N-Z 12pm-2pm.

Cheer: 3pm-7pm. Last names A-M 3pm-5pm. Last names N-Z 5pm-7pm.

Will you cash my equipment and volunteer checks?

GBYFC is run solely by volunteers, and we rely on the support of our families to help our home games run smoothly. A fully refundable $100 volunteer check is required at the start of the season for each athlete. Families are asked to volunteer for one hour per athlete during the season. Once your required volunteer hour(s) have been completed, your $100 volunteer check may be picked up directly from our Volunteer Coordinator.

A $300 equipment check is required to ensure all program equipment is properly cared for and returned at the end of the season. This check will be held and shredded once all issued equipment has been returned. Equipment turn-in dates will be October 26–29 or November 2–5, depending on playoff status.

How do I purchase an Add-On after I have already registered?

  • Make sure that you are signed into your account. If you are not signed in, Click the Sign In link in the upper left-hand corner. 
  • Once logged in, go to My Account > Enrollments. 
  • The Enrollments page table shows your enrollments and Add-Ons ordered. 
  • If available, you can select an Add-On to add to your Cart.
  • Use the drop down to select the desired Add-On.
  • Click the green arrow icon to Add to Cart. 
  • If needed, enter any required information for the Add-On.
  • Click the Add to Cart button.
  • Click the Proceed to Checkout button to finish paying for the Add-On.

Are you associated with the Grand Blanc Parks & Rec?

No. We are not associated with any parks and recreation group. Grand Blanc Youth Football and Cheer is a standalone non-profit organization.

How old does my child need to be?

For flag football or mascot cheer, your child should be 5 years old by August 1st of the current year.  

For tackle football and cheer, your child must turn 8 by November 1st of the current year.

What is my volunteer requirement? What do I have to volunteer for?

We rely on parent volunteers to help run the three home games. We will not have the volunteer sign-up ready until August, once we know how many athletes register. and then we can determine how many hours families will be required to sign up for (normally 1-2 hours per season). Positions may include ticket sales, 50/50, clock, spotters, announcer, chain gang, field set up, field clean up, concession sales, etc. If you do not wish to volunteer, you may pay the $100 fee up front.

How do I sign up for a volunteer shift?

  1. Volunteer Shifts will be posted in the BAND APP once we have the season schedule, you will use sign up genius to select the time and day you would to volunteer.

Grand Blanc Youth Football and Cheer is always looking for sponsorships to help fund additional equipment, uniforms, etc. If you own a business or know someone who does and would like to help sponsor the organization there is forms available on the website or you may contact a board member with any questions.
